High Top Cleaning (HTC)and its Importance

High top cleaning or HTC is defined as and highly recommended for initial residential and/or commercial cleanings.

The suggestion frequency for HTC can be scheduled quarterly or twice a year for hard to reach areas or not regularly thought of dirty places.

The hard to reach areas or not thought of dirty places will include, but not limited to unless you are a DIY’er hiring someone or several someone’s depending upon property size.

You may need ladders or special equipment such as scaffolding and let’s not forget about the safety precautions needed during HTC.

Just because you cannot see the dirt, does not mean it isn’t there.

An example of HTC would be if you have kitchen cabinets that are not flush with the ceiling and you’re able to put knick knacks or areas in properties commonly known as plant shelves.

Ask yourself “When is the last time my HTC areas have been cleaned?”

Nine times out of ten there is an a/c vent in every kitchen. Not all of the kitchen cabinets are flush with the ceiling, these kitchens need HTC.

The dust and grease combo alone and dare I say debris from unwanted pests is being blown into your lungs, onto countertops and yes into food.

If you are like most households that are in need of HTC and you are thinking to yourself right now “I don’t think HTC has ever been done here!” Believe me when I tell you, this is a common response.

Architects, general contractors, engineers and/or interior designers should consider the maintenance it will require, not to mention the health risks of breathing unnecessary debris into your lungs by cutting costs on construction.

Whether you hire a cleaning professional to help you or decide to DIY HTC, do yourself a favor and those that make a difference in your life and schedule HTC on your calendar right now. You’ll thank me later.
